A Poem by S Jack JA
"

...The Three of Me...

"
When comes the days,
the day I am old and gray,
memories of the past
flood my mind in disarray.

All mistakes and dreadful pith
slay me to clay,
with no mercy, unsympathetic,
and never a sway.

The very present day,
I keep mumbling to my very self.
"Should I pen a letter begging for amnesties?"
"Will it help?"

But the nowadays me is so sluggish,
dimmed, and in doubt.
May it count?
The truth to declare, or shall it fade out?

I wish I could flash back
to my long-lost past,
craving my former self
when he still had his heart.

A confession of guilt,
he may bravely set apart,
forwarding my future self
a sorrow with heartfelt regards.

The present me
should now be set free,
with self-love,
tears of joy…to every me.

Together
"Future-Past-Present"
all us three,
moving onward,
embracing what is meant to be.

I thought this was lovely and your English spot on.
All three move us forward and guide us to where (and how) we need to be.
