Donia Francia

Donia Francia

A Poem by Michelle Allende
"

This is a poem for my grandmother, whom I was a shadow to.. I miss her dearly

"

Like a bird my mind soars in the thick blue sky,

When I think of the memories we share I begin to cry.

You taught me why it is important to love and respect,

You showed me to teach morals and my family to protect.

I try to stay happy thinking of all the times we had together,

But I miss you deeply and your warm embrace in cold weather.

Hopefully your looking down over me from above,

I hope you know I miss you and you I will always love.

I like this poem, I feel the same way about my grandfather. You have a couple of typos that caught my eye. Hook 'em up!
