In spite of....

In spite of all that goes on in life I have hope because I have you,

In spite of disappointment, sadness you always shed light on what to do.  Even

when you feel lost and afraid of what lies next you go,

You go the extra mile every time and just let me know.

Let me know our love will carry us and our family through,

And in this thing called life we will create a path called "new".

New because this will begin all our growth and joy,

Everything we will do to bless our little girl and boy.

In spite of the challenges we will always shine,

And you let me know that you will forever be mine.

As I will be forever yours til we leave and meet again,

A love like ours will never come to an end.

In spite of what people think or what they say,

I always look forward to another beautiful day.

Because God first showed me He loved me "In spite of",

This is why I always keep my head looking above..
