Sidelines

A Poem by ..R.I.P..

I'm stuck on the sidelines
Watching the show
Balling my eyes out
With nowhere to go

Lights go down
I'm watching you
Everywhere I look
There's someone new

You disappear
I freak out
Don't know what to do
Other than pout

Time stands still
As a figure draws near
A chill runs down my spine
I'm shaking with fear

A knife is pulled
Light bounces off the blade
My life is ending
A debt has been paid

What I like about this is it takes you to a single person,
sort of like a music video and the image is just of a girl in a hoodie just sort of waiting, hoping, seeing, waiting to kick someone in the nuts.

that is what I took away from it and liked it for that reasoning, brutal honesty with a crack to the knee.

Nice job.

Whiskey is on Whiskurz cause he is cool like that.
