Pressure

Pressure

A Poem by ..R.I.P..

I don't like being pressured, never have

He knows this, and yet he still pressures me

Wanting me to do things I don't want to do

He wants me to have sex with him

I say I'm waiting for the right guy

So I won't make the same mistakes twice

He wants me to smoke weed

I say I've been there, done that, and sure as hell ain't going back

He wants me to fight over him

I say he isn't worth my time

And with all the pressure I'm being put under

I'm wondering how what I ever saw in him

I don't like being pressured, never have

No one likes to feel pressure. What marks the strong apart from the weak is not the pressure they can exert on others, but the pressure under which they do not break. This piece clearly shows that while you may not exert much pressure, you can withstand nearly anything that gets thrown your way.
