Idea came, so I let it flow.

I've never been lonely

But I've always been alone

I was always alone

Always waiting for that certain someone

That special someone

Who would change my life

I was always alone

And always wanting to be alone

And then I found you

And I wasn't alone

I was always alone

Until I saw you

I was always alone

But now that you are here,

I'm alone no more

I think this has a lot of potential, I like the contradiction here, because poetry is very much about contradictions, but I also think it became repetitive in some areas, for example: "And I wasn't alone" and "I was alone no more". If anything poetry is about brevity, and the sheer repetition of one word becomes more than just an effect or aesthetic--it's an indication that the poem is not as polished as it should be.

It kinda reminds me of Poe's poem alone. I think all artists feel this way. I am glad you found someone,yet another very strong poem.
