As the sun shone outside

As the sun shone outside

 

As the sun shone outside

All I could see was darkness

A big black hole

Waiting to envelope me

 

As I thought of good times

Bad ones swamped my thoughts

Of dark moments

Of very sad times

 

Despair and fear

Panic and anxiousness

Anger and loneliness

A feeling of being out of control

 

When will this end?

These feelings of helplessness

Feelings of angst

Feelings of suicide?

 

I can’t see through the other side of the tunnel

This black tunnel of such pain

Pain almost indescribable

Is there light at the end?

This piece reminds me of a time back when for a moment I lost all chance for hope and this write describes a lot of what can go through one’s mind. But I did say for just a moment because like all things the sun does shine again.
