As the sun shines on the warm clear waters

The children playing in the sand

Parents lay watching from their loungers

The world looks a wonderful place

 

Happiness is felt by all

Or is it?

Couples arguing in the distance

Abused children sitting staring into space

 

The world can look such a happy place

We all hide behind a masquerade at times

Adults and children

Keeping secrets and all that is taboo

 

Look into the eyes of your neighbour

Are they really happy?

Do you really know them?

We don’t always show the truth..

Nice chapter and very interesting idea to write about as our neighbors are one of the closets people next to us even so it doesn't mean we really know them. This kind of me reminded me of Desperate house wives from what you said at the end with "Look into the yes of your neighbors Are they really happy? Do you really know them? We don't always show the truth.." As pride and fear can hide us from the lights like the secrets that hide of mysterious lane. Anyways well done.
