My world which has been torn apart

I now feel empty and numb

Alone and so, so lonely

 

I can’t get you out of my head

I can’t sleep or eat

I feel like you have died

But you are still so alive

 

I miss your smile

Your laughter

Your hugs and kisses

I miss everything about you

 

I don’t know why I walked away

I’m so sorry my darling

Please forgive me

I miss you so very much

 

Is this called love?

You know, I think it is..

This poem is great...in the subject matter. Emotional, sentimental. Hit the readers right on spot.
But I feel like this whole poem is also somewhat..excessive. redundant. Basically, I can summarize it: you left me empty, I dont know what to do without you, i'm sorry, i miss you. I dont get any vivid imagery to make it stick in my mind. Honestly, some figurative language would REAAALLY help :)

How often we regret and rue the day we threw our love away, like refuse on a bonfire bright we so foolishly sacrificed that one thing that may have saved us....so very sad when hearts break. I hope it turns out well for you .
