I do wonder if you’re both together again

Although you left us when you were apart

I know you still loved each other

I know you still cared

 

I ask, have you found each other

Have you have forgiven and forgotten

Do you remember all the good times

And forgotten all the bad?

 

You had a good life together

And bore your three children

Who still love you both so much

We really do

 

I wish I could see you once more

I would tell you how much I love you

But now you are both in heaven

I hope you are together again.

This was a beautiful, loving tribute. A very touching write, Janie. I'm fortunate to have both of my parents still with me, although my mother's been gone with Alzheimer's for several years. I think I'll call my dad tomorrow to see how she's doing.

Ah...this broke my heart to read this. It's so bittersweet. For some reason, I believe they got back together. I really do. I believe we are made perfect in heaven, so that would restore our relationships too. I could be wrong but it's nice to think so. Very sweet poem. Brought tears to my eyes.
