Freshly scrubbed floor

Freshly scrubbed floor

A Poem by JanieB

Freshly scrubbed floor

Okay, so this the deal

No dragging chairs across me

No jumping up and down

No cats scratching on me

I’m gleaming you see

All polished and shining

No dust on me now

I look great I know

I smell so fresh

Been scrubbed with fair hands

Lovingly restored

To my former self

Thank you.

Oh, this is cute. The flooor doesn't want her sheen to be disturbed. Don't mess my nails up, she says. Cute poem.
