When I look back on my life

I think of all the things that have happened

My family, friends, relationships

Jobs, acquisitions, travels and more

 

Reflection can be hard

Hard when you have made mistakes

Regrets that haunt us

All life’s path of challenges

 

Life is a journey

Chapters in our book

Each one has a story

Some shared, some untold

 

Take out of life what we can

Be positive and happy

Positivity brings happiness

Happiness brings positivity

 

Don’t judge people and their circumstances

We haven’t walked in their shoes

We are all unique and individual

All of us deserve to be here in the place called earth

 

What we take out of it is up to us

We all have only one life to lead

To make decisions along the way

Be them wrong or right

 

Life is for learning

Sharing, caring and living

Be kind, honest, and giving

We get out of life what we put it in

 

Enjoy this world we live in

Take out the negativity, and the heartache

You will be a happier person for doing so
