Looking back I see it

All the games you played

Riddles issues

in three little words that you didn't mean

I thought how could you be such a fool

To let me slip through your fingers

I, being so worth the work

worth the challange

You leapt and danced for me

You and your silken words

Clad in a sensual disguise

Named trust

I fell for it, your facad

Distracted and consumed by your entertainment

All a game to you

Are you laughing now?

Me neither.

I thought you were the fool

In reality

All along

It was me

I smiled and nodded at the end .. eventually quite a few of us have to take the blame for how others treat us - in the interim, we're the ones who are hurt in this or that way. Two people are like sticks being rubbed together to create fire, inevitably one gets burned quicker than the other. Your words are sincere and quite beautifully expressed .. sad, sad, sad.

the problem is that the dear good god didn't make a three dimensional being until he got to woman...with man, the dear good god was still working in single dimensions

Well, I guess we all know this feeling intimately... the only common lover to all of humanity, I'd say. well done

ah games of heart - the ultimate fool - a strong relatable piece of the trickster who toys with emotions - reminds me of the idea that fools only fool other fools! ha nice!

brilliant...the perceiver becomes the reflection of the same...
like the song goes; everybody plays the fool, there's no exception to the rule...
we can't be so hard on ourselves though; the experience turns on our senses; they brought out something in us that was waiting to come alive...even if the deception was wrong; it felt right at the time and the pleasure and pain taught us something valuable...and the feeling will always live in us...

Everybody plays a fool, sometimes... a song by "The Main Ingredient"
We could only hope it never comes down to that but in reality sadly
it does. A well written piece...
