Emotional Spring

Emotional Spring

A Chapter by My Fair Lady
"

Desperately tired of winter and all the struggles it brought this year

"

I crave a new day

The warmth of sunshine

Something deeply touching

That leaves me speechless

I crave the voice of a birds song

A path of clearity

To guide me through

This unmistakable fog

I crave meaning

Inspiration of a single seedling

Room to be myself

Knowledge that I am never alone

I crave the changing air

Watch the water change from grey

To crystal blue

Single blades of grass pushing into life

I crave hope

While I fight the fear that starting again

Won't become the beginning of

Another tragic winter
