Pull Me Gently

Pull Me Gently

A Chapter by My Fair Lady
"

Letting Love Lift

"

Pull me gently into morning

As I fight the hurt that haunts my night

Lift me, love me and keep my heart soaring

As I let hearts anger escape me in flight

Keep your questions, let it be

Just listen as I rage

Please don’t hold my words to use to later hurt me

Just remember it was a healing page

My chapters are unfolding

My heart releasing the old haunts

You don’t need to do much, just hold me

Balance my falls and stumbling jaunts

Pull me gently to a holy place

A place where forgiveness is always right

Where hearts are cleansed, hurt erased

Where shadows are replaced by light

Help me keep perspective strait

Don’t let me get caught up in pain

Dive in to rescue me if I try to close the gate

Then hold me close in the pouring rain

Please pull me gently dear

I wont go if you push too much

I’m stubborn, angry and full of fear

But love will consume all that if you don’t rush

Love me still in your gentle way

Keep me tenderly in all you do

I’ll be alright and better each day

Just pull me gently into you

A poem with gentle words of the need for love and her comfort. I like the pace and story in the words. It reminded me of sweet whispers in dark nights when we need to feel wanted and warm. Complete poem is outstanding. Thank you.

So beautiful. So romantic, I would love to pull you into me and just gently hold you in my arms as we sit in an open field with an open sky above us. Allow our minds and souls to travel the universe and see sights only creators can see. Allow all the negative to drift away like paper in the wind.

Elegantly crafted and with such pure emotion. Talent. Takes alot of talent.

In awe of you, with love,

Jaidyn

O my, there is such a bright, celestial plea of love and tenderness in this piece, I felt the lines pierce through the chambers of my heart!

I've read some of your other poems, and you have a great talent. Your word choice and style bring out strong emotions... I particularly like this one, because its an emotion that I can relate to. Nothing feels better than letting go of whatever is bothering you, and having somebody there to vent to.

What a beautiful emotional piece, finally allowing, and trusting someone enough to open your heart.......it is a very brave thing to do, and to want to be loved gently day by day building that love........it read like a letter of sheer honesty.
