Or be a beautiful suspended ribbon dancer

In a sequined costume

 

Let me be like Cinderella

When the morning hour is nigh

Rush back before the waking hour

In a pumpkin carriage ride

 

Let my adventurous spirit

Dust itself off

Climb back inside

Familiar Body

 

Another day to live

More alive than ever

Ready to take on the world

 

Let the escape my spirit had

While body slept

Be remembered and cherished

 

When I wake

Reunited and refreshed

Let me taste the salty sweet of my lovers lips

Then I will know that he was with me

While we slept
