The Adventures Of A Spirit Dreamer - The Separation

The Separation

Some say the spirit

Lives within the body

Like a hand inside a glove

The spirit strong and free

Even when the body becomes weak and tired

Death is merely a separation

Of spirit and body

To heaven goes the spirit

While the body rests

What if the separation was not only at death

But also during sleep

In the deepest part

In the depth of the night

Spirit climb from sleeping body

Departing for an adventurous escape

And do something extreme

Go places the body cannot go

Let my spirit escape the burden

Of my tired body

Let it dance among the stars

And swim with the great whale

Let it leap tall buildings

Let it walk on Saturn rings

Oh, let it be that I could run with wild horses

On a white sanded beach

All while my tired body sleeps

oh yes~ you stream your words back along the threads I left a few hours ago~ what everyone seems to forget and what you remembered here in thrilling form is this;~ the body is an organic vessel~ mind and spirit integrate but are not tied to the flesh~
