Faery Glade

Faery Glade

A Poem by Janet Ferolito
"

A fanciful peek into fantasy

"
The wee ones travel over hill and dale
Skipping among the grasses
Trading favors to insects and plants
Unbeknownst to the traveler who passes

They giggle and play and sing a nice tune
As the sun climbs over the skies
Then the Moon Mother comes and shines her keen eye
On the little ones' village she spies

The Faery realm where we cannot see
Our world hidden from them
The two collide at a magical point
At the birth of the Honeysuckle stem

The base of the rainbow, in the Leprechaun's pot
Where magic and wonder grows
Is there really such a wondrous place?
Only the lucky ones know
