My mind still paces

My mind still paces

A Poem by Jane

Not a second lost

No, not a second

The thoughts come and go, the mind stays

awake. I am tired

Still around I pace

Around, like the circular motion of the moon

Toward the centre

But always astray.

This reminds me of something I've written before about the mind running in circles. I have moments such as these as well. I like the format of this poem. Sometimes its those random thoughts that make the most sense side by side. This was very well done. Great read.

I understand the poem. I run in circles and I try to keep up. I liked the ending and thank you Jane for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.
