This is Only A Dream

I don't want to be pinched

I don't want to be shaken

I want this dream to just keep going

Can I just stay sleeping?

If this is the only way I can be with you

Then I will stay sleeping forever!

You are in my dreams everynight

I rush through my days

And hop into bed because,

I know you will be there

Waiting for me.

When I close my eyes this is what happens:

Everything is dark then all of a sudden

There you are, out of the dark, you just appear

You have your amazing smile on your face

I see your smile an dI feel a smile coming on

I can't help but smile with you

You start to walk to me to give me a hug

I can't move, you make me paralyzed

You come even closer and everything becomes clear

We're on a beach

Its summer

The water is a clear blue

It looks so beautiful

Your right beside me now

We embrace and spend the whole day together

You grab a blanket and give me your sweater

Its getting cold outside

We watch the sunset

And listen to the waves crash on the shore

You hold me tight

You start to lean in

My heart pounding as you

BEEP BEEP BEEP...

"Sigh"

It was only a dream

And I relize how far away you really are

This day will soon be over

And I will be seeing you in my dreams tonight :)
