Cynic’s Paintbrush

Cynic’s Paintbrush

A Poem by Jamie Starlight

Whenever I compare the world to a blank canvas

You’re there to dull the colors

Whenever I speak in pastels

You yell in monotones

Maybe because the world is so blank

I can choose how I color in the lines

Maybe I’m too naïve, maybe you’re right.
