Incoherence

Incoherence

A Poem by Jamie Starlight

I can’t live in normality
I’ll always be worried about someone or something
As the days pass it builds and builds
I want to write exactly how I feel
What scares me, who I miss, every good moment, every bad moment
But I let it build and build
Until it comes out incoherently at the worst moment
I’d kill whoever hurts you
I’d stab myself in the heart everyday
I’d walk through every storm, slip around every barrier
But instead I sit here every day doing nothing
Same goes to all my friends, and whoever feels the world to deeply
I’d sacrifice everything if I could for a moment with you
For the ones who put up with me and my whining
For the one who kissed me
For the ones looking out their windows waiting for nothing
For the ones with words that never get on torn notebook pages
For the ones who feel the world is crushing them
For the ones who are torn in to many directions
For the ones who’ve made mistakes
For the ones who need to get away
I’d tear myself to pieces for any of you
And in the end I don’t know why or what I’m trying to say
Just that it has all built up
All of it about everyone I see, mainly you, probably me, but also everyone
Like I said, very incoherent
