Collison Course

Collison Course

A Poem by Jamie Starlight

In a sea of faces a few stand out

The ones with universe behind their eyes

Sometimes a hellish one, sometimes a divine one

You can get lost in one glance

A passing understanding, a knowing nod

You have a sudden desire to know them

A desire to exchange worlds of words

A glance back, they’re gone

The chance is lost within the crowd

Two universes never collided

Back into your head, alone again.
