HopelessA Poem by JamesA broken rose falls aside the broken man's soul, the petals battered and scuffed symbolizing his well being seeing this poor man's state, it thinks how it can undo this tragedy, how it can help this man It thinks itss too small, too beaten to give this man happiness for hours it tried to gather a way to make its intentions possible and when it was about to give out, the man turned his head from his dead-like position his bloodshot, and dreary eyes turned to see his new company the broken rose drooped it's head in shame in how it is so helpless and to it's surprise, the man picks the beaten rose, though to him is the most beautiful thing he's seen hope seeps through the rose's green veins the petals heal to an extreme red, relieved of bruises and as if a healing rain fell on them, all washed clean the broken man made whole again bloodshot eyes fade to pearl white of the man, his livelyness reclaimed it's position the man stands, waiting to take his new found wellness to a new beginning © 2010 JamesAuthor's Note
