I'm so sorry for your lost, though, I know you may have heard it a lot... You know, my twin sibling died years ago. So young and the death was unexpected. Because we were identical, I felt as if half of my soul had perished as well. Well, technically that would be right... But, I understand how that lingering pain can just eat away more and more until there is nothing but hollowness. I don't even know why I moved on. Yet, it is these types of things that ought to make us stronger. Of course there is guilt, but we cannot hold on to the past. They are nothing but burdens. We have a choice whether to become destroyed by our circumstances or let it refine us so that we can lead much better, joyful lives. No matter how broken you get, Just remember that the Lord knows your pain.

Thanks for checking it out and your kind words, b-blessed!
Losing a sibling causes us to face our own immortality. I lost an older sister and felt as though I couldn't go on without her. Perhaps the best thing we can do to honor their memory is simply just that - to go on without them. But they're never really gone, are they? They're with us for the rest of our lives!
Bless you!

So much of life remains a mystery and the why things happen as they do, is the biggest of all. The puzzle pieces never fall into place to show us the events of the future till it has past. It test us in the cruelest ways, temptations of power or lust, of fame or fortune to distract us from our responsibilities to our self, to our family. So we end up surviving on guilts and regrets for things that in reality were beyond our control but haunt us regardless. As I aged I learned to forgive myself and shed most of my restraining regrets and shrink my guilt's with good deeds in restitution. I hope you are able to do the same thing without having to live the majority of your life in suffrage before you find a peace that brings freedom to your soul.

Thanks for checking it out and your kind words of support,
much appreciated and b-blessed!
I am so sorry for your loss. The pain that one goes through is something that can't be really penned down. But this is a true depiction of how shattered a person can be on the loss of a loved one. Really beautiful!
I find one of the most important healing processes in my life have been the times in which I write. Nothing makes the pain soothe, nothing you read will mend your shattered heart...but every time you write, a little part of you understands inside, bit by tiny bit.
Sending love and healing from across the miles to you.
