Shark Week...

Big fish & Evil man...

Shark Week...

There are big fish that lurk in the vast ocean
and evil men that mimic their movements and characteristics,
upon the earth,

The fish seek and destroy to live and to do their part
in the cycle of life, but the land sharks seek and destroy
because of greed, envy and hate,

The fish is not evil by any means
man cannot say the same,

Sharks of the sea are put in the ocean for several purposes
as are the the land sharks, but in my opinion only one of these
sharks completely understands their purposes and I'm positive
it isn't the sharks that walk the earth,

Ocean sharks kill for the purpose of living themselves
land sharks again cannot say the same,

Sharks of the sea Are Not Evil!
Man is most definitely evil,
so save a shark and pray for man...

Wow that is some writing...but I share you views completely having lived on the streets for 26 years. And they are exactly that...greedy and evil...just plain mean spirited., You capture the true meaning of "shark" by land and by sea!

Sharks always fascinate me and they are in serious decline, sadly through over fishing for their fins and so many other issues. Mankind forgets they are apex predators of the ocean and necessary to the eco system, without them, the ocean will be a poorer place and so will our lives...sad, hard hitting truth, good to see someone else sees them as not only essential but wonderful creatures to protect :)

i really like this word tapestry...you make a very valid point about man, nature and evil in our world...you make a grammatical error using "there" when you should use "their"...ex: and evil men that mimic there movements and characteristics...their is a possessive pronoun...the characteristics belong to the sharks...
there indicates location as "the shark is over there"...i would not say anything except the mistake occurred more than once...hope this does not anger you because the poem is well done as a whole...
check lines 2,4 and 11 and blessings to you...
