My other 1/2...

Someday 1+1will=2...

To find someone to live and die with is truly living
and completely worth dying for,

To mess with the rest is is just a test to see if your
ready or capable of the best,

What your heart and mind equates as perfect my
not equal the same sum as some but you see something
that only you were meant to see because you are meant
to be,

I may not see it as clear as you do but I believe I'm not
supposed too, you two are something that was predestined
a true blessing,

Something to live for or die trying, I just pray that mine will
stop hiding because without her I'm slowly dying,

I want to live in her and die with her
I want not to just seek her but be with her
I need to find my sum to this equation
I will continue praying,

My life will always be unanswered
until I find my other half and I know she's
out there looking for me and probably reviewing
pie graphs,

Soon I know that 1+1 will =2 but for now it's just
1 but I'll continue to seek what I perceive as perfection
and hope she is looking in my direction...

I don't think it's about finding, but discovering what is already there. A chance meeting, but to actively look, search leaves nothing to chance. The one thing in life that I feel is worth leaving to chance is when you bump into that one person that will change your life forever, because you already know God arranged the meeting. God bless!

This is not only full of hope, longing, and sincerity, but most of all, the willingness to find and hold forever love. It has a ring of innocence somehow and that's so rare these days. In places tis a little muddled (stanza three and four) but maybe that's because of the poet's emotions.
