I wish...

I wish I could hand you the world in a handbag,
I wish I could give you all the money in the world,
I wish I could make all your dreams come true,

I wish
I wish
oh how I wish to give you all the things your beautiful
heart truly wants and desires,

These are things that I cannot give you
and you and I know this,

But one thing I can give you is the honest to God
TRUTH, and with that truth comes a love that you
will never be able to experience without me,

I can hand you my whole heart in a handbag
and in that handbag will also come with the
uttermost respect and honor for you and you only,

It may not be the world or all of it's money and
it may not fulfill all of your dreams but it will be
true love and I believe very few get to enjoy this
kind of love,

I wish you knew how much I want and need you,
I wish you would see the beauty I see within you,
I wish you would be mine to have, hold and cherish
today and all times...
