If love is a crime,
then I am guilty as charged,
and will most definitely do the time,
being with you is absolutely sublime,

I will do 10 to life by your side,
and enjoy every minute of this love ride,

Time flies when having fun,
so you and I will never have to run,
because when we're together it's always
fun in the sun and we've just begun,

I will only love you even more as time goes on,
I may even write you a song that tells everyone
how much we belong together in any kind of weather,
and how I will never allow this tie to be severed,

So if my love for you is a crime,
then grab the cuffs and lock me up,
this love is not a bluff, I understand that times
will get rough but I love you and if you look into
my baby blues you will know I'm telling the truth,

If love is a crime,
I'm guilty as charged,
and ready to serve my time...
