Today I must cut ties with all the lies
you've been living in,

I can't pretend any longer,
I must grow stronger and move forward
in my life, without you and the strife,

I have given you the benefit of every single doubt
and every time I'm let down and alone to pout,

You and your lies have completely severed this tie
and I have no more tears to cry,

You have pushed me way to far this time
and I am positive that I don't want you to be mine,
So grab your stuff and get on the grind,

I hope all your lies were worth it
because you and I both know I didn't deserve them,
but they kept coming again and again
and today is the day that it all comes to an end,

I have to do what I have to do and your lies
made me hate you, I'm sick of this misery always blue,

Yeah break-ups are terrible...My boyfriend and I have broken up a few times and they all sucked so very much. For very similar reasons as you have written about here. We've been able to move on from them but that doesn't make it hurt any less when they did happen. I'm sorry you've had to deal with this, my friend, that isn't fair. I'm here if you want to talk! And sometimes there is no where to go but away! Take what you learned (for I always think it's God giving us lessons) grow from it and move forward. A relationship built on lies is like a castle built on the sand doomed to crumble with the first crashing waves.
