CLOUD 9...

I am definitely love struck,
I'm not even trying to pass the buck,

When I saw her love coming my way,
I tried to duck but she hit her target,
and now I'm stuck,

My head is no doubt in the clouds,
and I would be lying if I said I wasn't proud,
I feel completely blessed when she's around,
my girl is the epitome of being down,

So as we chill on cloud 9 and spend some,
quality time, kissing & hugging and hitting,
rewind, we indulge in our frenzy for one another,
growing closer playing the game of discover,

My heart is in a state of heavenly bliss,
the more & more we chill and kiss,

I want this trance to last forever,
I want her to be with me in all of my endeavors,
when we are together my life just feels better,
this is a tie I must be careful not to severe,

If it feels this good being with her and having my,
head stuck in the clouds, please God let me stay
on cloud 9, I don't ever want to come down...

I love your poetry, I really do. Especially the romantic ones like this. You are so cute and I wish I could get to know you better in person. The rhyme scheme is good and strong throughout the piece; my only suggestion is that the line "this is a tie I must be careful not to severe," seems a bit forced compared to the rest of the poem. It still works well and gets your point across, just seems a bit forced to me. No big deal. Keep these coming :) Thanks for sharing this with me!
