Midnight Snack...

Yum Yum!!!
I love my midnight snack,

So many delicious little treats
to satisfy one's sweet tooth,

Ice cream
Pie
Chocolate cake
Fudge
Popcorn

And the list goes on and on,
but since you and I have been an item,

My favorite midnight snack is you
sweetie pie, there's no doubt about it,

You are as sweet as they come and I
have never went to bed feeling my midnight
craving unsatisfied...

I laughed toward the end by how off-guard and relatable this is! I expected this poem to be about snacks and not the metaphor that a significant other, too, can be such in a sexual and soulful sense. Amazing work!
