Longing for Love...

A Blur...

Today is not my best day
I want the ache in my heart to go away,

I completely long to be strong in love again
I feel my thoughts of my lady just blowing in
the wind,

I can visualize her
I can smell her
I can almost feel her

My vision and emotions are so clear
then a moment later they just disappear, (a blur)

I am confused why my love must be detoured
I am becoming frustrated and it's quite absurd,

She awaits me as I for her finding my lady is a game
of cat and mouse, I game I am getting tired of playing
but if it means capturing the love of my life I will continue
waiting,

I know I must be patient but today my patients are at wit's
end and I so badly want my new life of love to begin,

Some men and women think it's okay to have 2 or 3
but I just want 1 to love have and hold just her and me,

Oh well, when the timing is right everything will fall in it's place
but for now I'll just pace, Lord I know that I'm a disgrace
but if you send me my lady, I promise to win life's race

I can visualize her
I can smell her
I can almost feel her

I beg of you Lord, please let her not be just a blur
I want her, I need her, that is for sure...

The beginning few lines of the poem, as I read them,

Today is not my best day
I want the ache in heart to go away,

I completely long to be strong in love again

they made me smile. For a very simple reason that I now know how to describe my past few months. Only, I would say love for me is to do something I'm passionate about and be amazing at it.

James, such a passionate write! The words seem to float and create music and art as they go. :)
