The RISEN KING...

The RISEN KING...

The MESSIAH has risen
on the 3rd day just as prophecy said
but yet the foolish presumed he would remain dead,

They stood by and mocked and a encouraged him to
be slayed, little did they know that the King would rise
the 3rd day,

Our King shed his crimson blood for the worlds sins
and they stood by unaware that GOD always wins,

He completed ancient prophecy down to a tee,
only the son of God could accomplish I pray you can
see and agree,

This was part of God's perfect plan first hand,
read the book of Isaiah and you will start to understand
This had to happen for you and me so we could be free,
foolish man still wants to pick God's perfect plan apart
even know he tells us in his word what will happen from
the start,

Easter is a time to live free and rejoice in our RISEN KING,
and all of his well deserved glory, not to make sense of some
man made story,

So while your kids are searching for eggs a rabbit supposedly
laid, I pray that you will put the nonsense at bay and find a place
in your heart where JESUS can permanently stay,

The King of Kings has risen and we should praise and worship him
for his holy decision, he has conquered the grave so you and I don't
live as a slave to sin, JESUS WINS AGAIN!

I thank GOD for his son and I pray you will be your child's teacher

I agree with the concept that one might sacrifice for the good will of others. Heaven if for the ones that believe in God. My argument would be: who is hell reserved for? It surely is reserved for the demons that whisper into the ears of mankind; but the question that I ask is: some humans don't believe in Christ and the sacrifice he's made, so where do they abide? If Christ died for mankind on that cross, shouldn't they be forgiven as well? Christ said: "Lord forgive them, for they do not know." That's my input.

Other than that, it was amazing, and I love that you always say what's on your mind clearly and vividly. Thanks for sharing.

Some are never satisfied by faith, James, something we all know too well. Even during Old Testament times, God had to continuously remind his people that he was always there to help; that his love was infinite. However, time after time they would challenge his power. This is a beautiful, spiritually written piece from a man who knows his Saviour. A most aptly written poem, James. God bless!
