Oceans Edge...

Laguna Beach,
Crystal Cove, 10am is when we arrived
the family and I are excited and feeling alive,

Today we will spend the day having fun in the sun
at the oceans edge, with no cares in the world is what
we pledge,

The day is one of those days that God has finger printed
perfect weather, soft warm sand, and a non-crowded beach
a great memory in the making, for the families taking,

And take it we surely did, at the oceans edge we laid, played, prayed,
and watched the gorgeous ocean smack the rocks as it sprayed,

With ear to ear smiles and laughter full of light
I knew this is all Gods glory always keeping him in sight,

As the family continues to enjoy themselves at the oceans
edge, I take a moment to write "JESUS " in the sand acknowledge
my King first hand, if people view it that's fine with me
but certainly not part of my plan, I just want to say " thank you "
for this unbelievable day that I will cherish and tuck away to
relive on a Colorado snowy day,

With that being said, we indulged ourselves in this piece of
heaven and accepted this blessing, the day couldn't have gone
any better, and that's why we all knew that this was Gods
will to enjoy this day and be all together,

We made a memory that will last forever for all of us,
and we give God all praise and glory, for him we will
always love and trust, whether it be in everyday life
or at the oceans edge...

Amazing work JT, the description is really nice, i could actually see the beach that you were talking about. Sometimes we forget to give praise to the Lord when we are enjoying life, thank you for reminding me that all Glory and Praise should be given to God in everyday life and at the oceans edge. Beautiful.

LOVE this! I could visualize the beach, family, water, and writing in the sand. Such Blessings for sure! I could see "JESUS" written in the sand as plain as the day I, myself, seen the words, "Pray for me" written in the sand as I walked, searching for shells. Great poem!
