Do you believe that this world is here,
to serve you,

Or are you willing to serve this world,
a five course meal, with a nice fresh napkin,
and a note attached that reads,

" I'm not of this world "

And he, whom dwells in me,
is greater then he whom dwells in
this world...

" Enjoy your supper "

I always use to hum this song whenever i was afraid .This poem of yours brought back the memories.he satiric attempt to remind the world its place is so brilliant .It left me gawking.I must say we are always in dilemma of to serve or to be served..As it is written in Bible Jesus had come to serve man not to be served.So we must follow it.Though we need not bend to the wrong notions of this world.Not letting the material aspects rule over us.:) *keep writing* A nice piece with much to ponder

This is an amazing write on a self's behavior in the social world! Our attitude towards the world, that could either mean self-centricity that believes the world is designed to fulfill our thirst or socio-centricity where we consider ourselves as a being that's meant to serve the world.
