Why people allow themselves to dwell in misery
is completely beyond me,
Misery is the farthest thing,
from living free,
To add more strife to an already tough life,
to me doesn't seem to be to bright, But who am I,
I'm just a guy who likes living free in the light,
We all know misery loves company, doesn't it frustrate you
or boggle your mind, watching people invite misery into there lives,
and waste there time,
It's watching a downward spiral and cling on's jump,
on for the ride, kicking everything good in there lives aside,
Misery Loves Company, 1 becomes 2 then 2 becomes 3,
then next thing you know, it's a toilet full of misery, being
flushed down life's toilet with all that negativity,
Instead of standing around bitching and moaning,
I always pray, that one would take charge,
and get these other turds going,
This life already has enough misery to go around, and
if we keep adding to it's company, we're all going to go down,
So please don't add fuel to the misery fire,
give love, which breads hope and help to inspire...
The story of Jesus created this world of misery...
People worship someone who was tortured to death out of a deep level of pity.
It allowed a world of sadness and violent hatred to be a normality.
Satan didn't make anyone sin, they only made themselves sin out of a lack of will power.
A prayers purpose is to only put a deeper imprint of a particular thought in your head, other than that it offers you nothing else.
Stop praying and start doing.

Hell, I'll relate it to the poem you wrote: the reason for all of this inequality is because of him and his offspring. People think that they are better than each other, just like he was too proud to prostrate before Adam. You need to think twice before you speak, and if you get arrogant and get into defense mode, then know that he's in the pilot's seat.

There's a few grammatical errors here and there. The poem is very straight forward. Being miserable is not as bad as you make it. You just need to have a different outlook in life and you could be hopeful and miserable at the same time. I think. Maybe. I don't know.

I sense a lot of frustration (obviously :))
I like this imagery, quite graphic:
"Misery Loves Company, 1 becomes 2 then 2 becomes 3,
then next thing you know, it's a toilet full of misery, being
flushed down life's toilet with all that negativity,"
The next bit is a bit harsh - but I sense you are really frustrated at this point in the poem.
and then you get to the root of why this is frustrating to you:
"This life already has enough misery to go around, and
if we keep adding to it's company, we're all going to go down,
So please don't add fuel to the misery fire,
give love, which breads hope and help to inspire... "
A valid concern! It is not an easy task caring... which, I suspect, is why many people suppress that part of themselves!

I love this poem of what have written. Don't add fuel to the fire, instead only water it down. Live life through the misery of pain and get through it. It's a good theme :)

um I like the message you put in this poem, James. we must always try our best to stay positive. but I don't know, the tone of this poem sounds a bit...angry? I personally think everyone has their own reason to be sad and miserable and it takes different amount of time for each of them to heal. well i'm not saying that we can pity ourselves all the time. but, I think God does let us grieve for a while. maybe that way we can understand that He cares for us even in our worst shape.
