Why people allow themselves to dwell in misery
is completely beyond me,
Misery is the farthest thing,
from living free,
To add more strife to an already tough life,
to me doesn't seem to be to bright, But who am I,
I'm just a guy who likes living free in the light,
We all know misery loves company, doesn't it frustrate you
or boggle your mind, watching people invite misery into there lives,
and waste there time,
It's watching a downward spiral and cling on's jump,
on for the ride, kicking everything good in there lives aside,
Misery Loves Company, 1 becomes 2 then 2 becomes 3,
then next thing you know, it's a toilet full of misery, being
flushed down life's toilet with all that negativity,
Instead of standing around bitching and moaning,
I always pray, that one would take charge,
and get these other turds going,
This life already has enough misery to go around, and
if we keep adding to it's company, we're all going to go down,
So please don't add fuel to the misery fire,
give love, which breads hope and help to inspire...
The story of Jesus created this world of misery...
People worship someone who was tortured to death out of a deep level of pity.
It allowed a world of sadness and violent hatred to be a normality.
Satan didn't make anyone sin, they only made themselves sin out of a lack of will power.
A prayers purpose is to only put a deeper imprint of a particular thought in your head, other than that it offers you nothing else.
Stop praying and start doing.

I'm a Muslim, so I don't believe that Christ, peace and blessing be upon him, was tortured or killed; but Satan isn't your friend. In fact, an offspring of his runs through your veins like blood does, and I assure you that whatever wrong you do, he and your own self are to be blamed. Hell, I'll relate it to the poem you wrote: the reason for all of this inequality is because of him and his offspring. People think that they are better than each other, just like he was too proud to prostrate before Adam. You need to think twice before you speak, and if you get arrogant and get into defense mode, then know that he's in the pilot's seat.

Their disgusting ideals led to this fucked up place. And now this world is a reflection of hell, which is why I am here. I'm attempting make it better, you guys can keep praying in silence if you chose to. If I win this world is healed, if I lose this world will continue to be raped until it finally dies. Blind faith has had its day, good luck guys.
Another helpful advice that's very well penned. If your friend is in misery you can keep him company, however, you should not sympathize and share the same feeling. You should try your best to stand your ground and maintain the positive outlook. I've always admired how you pen your sentiments. Job well done dear brethren. :-)

You're welcome dear brethren. I always try to dig deep to every poem's meaning, yours just happen to be very relatable. See you around!
A very good message, but there's also a sort of misery that people don't search. Look at poor people, sick people that don't ask for that misery. We need to have compassion with that sort of misery and help those who can't help themselves. Very well written, James. :) Rudi

I had to laugh at the "it's a toilet full of misery!" What a funny comparison and yet how true. Toilet full of constipated miserable turds. Someone get a laxative! That should purge it all out.
Most people love misery. It's more attractive, more dramatic, it keeps their engine rolling because it is more exciting. But whenever something good happens or they feel happy for a moment, it's too unfamiliar to them. What is this happiness? What is this calm? So not used to that, it makes them so uneasy, so they regress back to misery again. It takes great maturation to overcome that. Because true happiness is peace, love, and joy within.
Good points you made!

Extremely inspiring piece of work.. correctly written especially in the lines where u describe them as a downward spiral, miseries need to be thrown out of lives as soon as possible..
I enjoyed the message behind the poem, these lines were beautifully written " It's watching a downward spiral and cling on's jump,
on for the ride, kicking everything good in there lives
aside" thanks for sharing your work

(This life already has enough misery to go around, and if we keep adding to it's company, we're all going to go down,) Your words hold much truth. And although there do seem to be many who love to complain and find fault, sometimes some of those people are ill and the chemical imbalances within their mind simply cannot see the bottom for looking up. I know.....I've been there. And Christ Jesus has been my only hope. ~Sharon
