The Beautiful People...

Are not so beautiful you see,
they lie, cheat and steal, they live to deceive,

Their hearts are filled with hate,
and when fellow man struggles, they laugh
cause that's what they anticipate,

The Beautiful People, hide in the dark,
and prey on you cause your the mark,

They are running this world into the ground,
as the good folks just watch and stand around,

The Beautiful People, are not beautiful anymore,
they only think of themselves, always looking to score,

As we watch they get rich, then we cry,
then we b***h,

I refuse to fall with this world,
please grab my hand and let's make a stand,
let's bring beauty back to the people and the land,
now if you ask me, that sounds like a plan,

We have lost sight at what is right,
but together we can still win this fight...

Every line depicts our current situation. In reality that's how it is, no matter how many times we try to pretend we're good, our evil nature slaps us too hard that we give in. However, we still have a chance to make things right. And that is why may favorite line is the last-- but together we can still win this fight...

I agree with every word.

Always there have been the haves and the have nots, but I think the gulf widens now with every passing day. Sadly, even though I have a great faith, I'm not sure now that we can stem the tide; we can only trust that in the end good will triumph.
