Talking Walls...

If the walls could talk, what would they say?

Would there be may people shocked and dismayed,
would friends&family, feel as if they've been played,

Or would people still view you, just as you are,
still with the image of you as a shinning star,

I see several people, wearing abundant masks,
and that is the sole purpose, why I ask,

Some people are as fake as they come,
they lie, cheat, and steal, and think we're just dumb,

In this day and age, peeps aren't what they seem,
they do and say things, because of low self-esteem,
there selfish, manipulating, hypocrites and down right mean,

So if you are one of these mean peeps,
you should be ashamed, with nobody but yourself to blame,
eventually, one of those masks will slip off and
life as you know it, will come to an abrupt STOP!

And if you're the shinning star we all think you are,
then, THANK YOU! at least there's still a few that stand true,

The truth always comes out in the wash, so stay true to yourself
and avoid becoming lost...

This world includes both types of people the fake one's are just a crap but indeed there are many people who are true and honest and it's so thankful that they still stand out to be real otherwise our world be a living hell full of fakers.
I liked the message in last lines.

I love black and white in this shades-of-grey world... and damn "context" to the pit of self-hell it came from. Being paranoid does NOT mean someone isn't out to "get" you.

People and life create reasons for themselves and others being who and how they are - so while you go with your gut remember trust is earned not given.

I really enjoyed the title of this and your writing is always so powerful, making me see things in a different way. We all should stay true to ourselves, but often, it's not that easy. A lot of people won't understand the struggle. I struggle with self-esteem every now and then, but I've been doing something every day to help me smile and keep my head up.

I think just about everyone can relate to this one. Many people show a different side of themselves behind closed doors or when they get comfortable around you. Sometimes it is a positive change other times it's not. The things that we say can be so different from what we show. Sadly there are people in my own family that this poem really sums up.
