The Weather Channel...

The Weather Channel...

A Poem by Jamestown
"

What's the weather hold today?

"
The Weather Channel...

What kind of weather will I encounter?

Will I meet someone, who resembles the beauty and freshness,
of snow fall covering a gorgeous mountain range,

Or perhaps someone, who has a tornado of issues,
that I just can't explain,

What about someone, with a warm heart that reminds me of
the soothing sun, now that sounds like fun,

But you never know, I may cross paths with someone, who
is full of gloom and feels completely doomed,
I don't want to add to that drizzle and make they're life
even more miserable,

I have no idea what God has planned for the weather today,
I just pray that, I can be uplifting and improve somebody's day,

I've asked God to help me do something nice for people today,
in hopes that he gets all the glory and praise,

I hope to be warmth in someone's life today,
so I better view the weather channel wouldn't you say?

Have a blessed day everyone, my favorite weather is fun in
the sun, but I pray the weather is what you desire, because all
of you, I so much admire...

Light whimsically introspectively a good read ....like the weather channel metaphor and how you developed it.

Well right now I'm cold, so I'd prefer fun in the sun too. But we need to try and make our own weather.

Weather is fantastic and God is even better, thanks for checking it out, b-blessed.
My friend, this is a wonderful poem. The metaphors of people as weather conditions were clever and thought provoking. I sat for a minute thinking of what type of weather I am feeling like today; Mostly sunny, with a few scattered clouds. And, perhaps, what does the seven day forecast look like for me. I think this poem is excellent and very inspirational!
