Friendship to Love...

A budding rose, my feelings for you are maturing with season,
a once beautiful friendship, is blossoming to new heights,
with the help of loves guided wings,

in flight headed for a monumental change, in our current relationship,
fast moving, from a safe zone, straight towards caution,
sacrificing guard to allow fate to take prey to loves chance,
my heart will be left alone in your silky soft hands,
to do what you will, in high hopes of our love taking reign and conquering,

I realize today, that I love everything about you,
and want nothing more than for you to be my lady now and forevermore...

I am a firm believer in friendship being the solid foundation of the best relationships.. I, for one, will never attempt another one without it.. Friends first.. friends last.. friends forever.. that bond.. that connection.. similar tastes, opinions, the ability to just be comfortable with each other and have a good time no matter what.. what could be better?.. I love the description of blossoming, and soaring to new heights on love's wings.. very apt and beautifully done.. I enjoyed..

" loves chance".............. shouldn't both of these have an apostrophe? "love's guided wings"..."love's chance"...
