Opposites attract...

If I'm up and you're down, together would make us, in between,
If I'm blue and you're yellow, together would make us the color green,

If I was the peanut butter, and you're the jelly, together we'd be a delicious snack,
are you following what I'm saying, are we on the same track,
If I'm the water, and you're the ice, together we'd be a refreshing drink,
now you can't argue with that, don't you think,

If I'm the milk, and you're the cookies, together we'd be, a delicious desert,
are you paying attention, are you staying alert,

Most the things I mentioned, are opposites, but they seem to attract,
so, who are we to disagree with that fact,

I believe that, you and I were predestined from the beginning of time,
and a really hope, you enjoyed, reading this rhyme...

.

You thought outside the box on this one, James! The most entertaining piece I have read in a while. Never read another poem such as this one. It subconsciously put a smile on my face.
