What next God?

I often wonder, what God wants me to do next,
Does he want me to travel the world with his text?
Does he want me to do this by myself, or does he want me to ask for some help?

Does he want me to go to Jerusalem, and stay for awhile, maybe walk in his shoes for a few miles?
Does he want me to attend seminary school, so I can teach the good news to some fools?

I don't know? Maybe he wants me to, volunteer more of my time on top of the 8-5 grind?
I really do try to follow his lead, to pick up the pace and stay at his speed.
I really don't know, what he wants me to do next, so until I do, I'll treat it like a test.

I'll study his word and prepare myself, and wait, patient and humble, for something else.
Wherever, he wants me to go, I'll go and whatever he wants me to do, I'll do, wouldn't you?
All I want, is his will be done, because he is my father and I am his son... PTL!

Tough, legitimate questions.
One of the things I've learned is that God rarely pushes his children; often, a whisper or gentle nudge is all we get. Think it has something to do with honoring free will. Most Christians have not even come close to actually ceding their wills to Christ.
In any event, "What next" is another of your poems, Jamestown, that I greatly enjoyed.
