A breath of fresh air...A Poem by JamestownPiece of mind...
What a breath of fresh air...
A walk on the beach, on a clear sunny day, sailboat at sail, just off the coast, fisherman fishing, kids playing, couples entertained with one another and birds stealing scraps from the care free humans. You think to yourself, what a breath of fresh air... Gazing into the ocean towards the island and soaking in the hot sun rays, totally mesmerized, by God's beautiful creations, so happy, so peaceful, You again, think to yourself, what a breath of fresh air... Then as fast as the thought entered, it exited and your attention shifts to a couple of young children, building a sand castle, laughing and sharing there toys, totally fixated on the job at hand. Wow, what a breath of fresh air... You're day has been absolutely, fantastic, but it's about that time to hit the road, so you, gather you're belongings and start toward the car, but not before you take one more glance at earthly bliss. As you point in the direction of the car, you realize that you will be forced to stroll past the cool sand castle, the kids finished. Fumbling your keys, they land next to the castle and sketched in the sand reads "JESUS SAVES" And you yell, Amen! Thinking to yourself, what a breath of fresh air. © 2015 JamestownAuthor's Note
