What is Sown

What is Sown

A Poem by James

Churning and twisting I close my eyes
But before me I cant stop the image
Of a hundred million dreary dead
And a hundred million sighs
When day breaks and dawn comes at last
You try to shake off the feeling
Brushing off your past
To creep out into the world
But certainly not revealing
The one thing that makes you weak
Stumble through the day
Just trying to stay awake
To impress the boss and meet
Your goals again this week
But dont ever reach those heights
Drag it down and drag it out
Cause we all know what comes
When you drink down your nights
In bottles of pain and drags of joy
Trying to capture that little boy
Who so often played the fool
And who worried oh so much about school
But now your grown and what have you sown
But a million layers of trash
And god help you it's piling up fast.
