![]() A Frightening FeastA Poem by James Wells
Walk in the room turn the lights down real low.
Start to pull off your dress, real slow. Remember the way the light looked in his eyes. Remember the sound of another broken prize. Bend and curve to your heart's desire. Feed the flame of the growing fire. Remember the taste of the innocence spread. Remember the sound of the clothes you'd shed. And it breaks my heart to know Of the places you'll surely go. And I'm stuck in this cage I've built. Built below the hell you've filled. So bleed, for me, darling. Neurosis shape the fabric of what we'd see. The fiends they feast on these dead dreams. But you won't escape away from me. Turn your head as the light blinds you. Feel the sun start to hide the truth. I felt a fear and a shiver in my spine. I felt some hope in your final goodbye. Would you regret the life you would end. As the time racks up a bill that you'd spend. I felt shame for the first time in my life. I felt blame like the blade of your knife. So bleed, for me, darling. Neurosis shape the fabric of what we'd see. The fiends they feast on these dead dreams. But you won't escape away from me. And it kills a bit, to know the thrill you get. Knowing that these boys, are just more of your toys. And it kills a bit, to know the thrill you get. Knowing that these boys, are just more of your toys. And it kills a bit, to know the thrill you get. Knowing that these boys, are just more of your toys.
