Hey Girl

Hey Girl

A Poem by James Wells
"

I mean, it speaks for itself.

"
You're the girl that I'd wish for at the wishing well.
Just to find out it's just a gate to hell
Well oh well.
You're the kinda girl that just loves to tease.
Up and down with guys doing as you please.
Oh please.
You're the kinda girl who'd lie and say I was the first.
Oh my precious dear you really are the worst.
But the first.

The first that I fell in love with,
From each butterfly to every wasp inside.
The first that I gave it all with
From each stifled laugh to every master plan.
And the first that I'd crack my head with.
From every broken bone, around this fucked up home.

You're the kinda girl who chases pavements
Because you're chasing payments.
What do I pay with?
You're the kinda girl that's at the bar
Kissing other girls, trying to be a star.
Well har, har.
You're the kinda girl that would catch my eye,
But believe me baby, I would rather die
Then give this a try
So goodbye.

Goodbye to the nights we had,
From the music shows, who's stories blow.
Goodbye to every little plan.
From the picnic table, to the future label.
Goodbye to every hope.
I'd pray you choke, but I wouldn't waste the rope.

I'm just looking to keep people entertained. It's important to me that I do as much as I can to give hope to the hopeless. We need it the most. But I also do say some comedic things occasionally, b.. more..
