Cerebral Peace

Cerebral Peace

A Poem by James

STOP!!!!
The person at this address has moved

He went to find his mind
it left a while ago

For a year he's been fumbling around
aimlessly without a brain

bumping into walls and stubbing his toe
walking blindly through cities with nowhere to go

Now he's left,
in search of cerebral peace

I'll let you know if he finds it.

This is how I feel about living in the wilderness as a way to escape the madness of our current times! I've found cerebral peace in nature here & I love your fun tongue-in-cheek spoof on those of us who've checked out! *wink! wink!* Fondly, Margie

That sounds like the beginning of a very long and arduous journey, to haunt the mind looking for the key to its secrets and a better understanding of ourselves. I would try the same thing, but someone broke the elevator to my mind and it is just too many long, dark corridors and secrets, conveniently protected by minefields and trip wires.
Great piece James, let me know if you make it through the maze, good luck.

A very relatable writing for many. The title lured me to read entirely. Great word choice btw. Very creative with a pinch of abstractness, just the amount I like. I enjoyed this.

Mind, body, spirit connection. So easy to say.... So difficult to find.
But knowing that Its missing is the first step.

and now his thoughts are in a pile somewhere, "undeliverable---return to sender doesn't even work anymore."---
