From my desk, I can hear his song. The song the Sparrow sings -- He sings his song with a voice so sweet It's a tune that's meant for kings. But I'm no king, yet he sings to me, A poor man without a throne. When tomorrow begins He will come once again To remind me that I'm not alone.
Good poem James, a King does not need a throne.
There are men who are Kings who are worth nothing and men who have nothing who are worth everything. It's all in how you measure wealth.
Sweet, simple and to the point. Some poems lack details, and the person who wrote them isn't always capable of making them better. But I think the length of this is perfect for the message. Good work.
It seems that the poorer a person is the more they appreciate all the little things - the things that kings don't even notice. I love this James - it's well received :)
A sweet reminder that, in life, there are those who appreciate us & gift us with their uplifting talents, no matter if we're rich or poor. I most like the part where this is a celebration that can be anticipated & depended on . . . that's how nature is to me, as well.
